It’s day 6 of 15 days of content! WOHOO! Let’s do this!  Today I’m keeping things REALLY simple. Here are 6 questions to ask a potential client during a sales call. I went back and counted how many calendly appointments I’ve had….and it’s been a lot. I used to do sales calls for all of my digital products and my 1-on-1 work so not many people have as many hours on the phone as I do. Here are 6 questions you should be asking on every call. Keep in mind, you don’t want to answer these questions back-to-back but try to integrate them in your conversation.

Some quick tips on conducting a great sales call:

  1. Listen, listen, listen: Your prospective client should be doing the majority of the talking

  2. Read the room: Don’t PUSH a set template down their throat if it doesn’t feel right, give value and advice if it feels right. I once had a discovery call with a coach who was just following a script and I could tell. I didn’t work with her.

  3. Don’t try to solve all the problems: Give one piece of advice or thing they could try and then introduce how to get the rest (work with you)

  1. What made you want to sign up and chat with me today?

  2. What is this problem keeping you from doing? Are there some goals you have?

  3. What have you tried before to try to solve this problem? Did it work?

  4. Why do you think this is something that you haven’t been able to do on your own?

  5. If you had a genie who would snap their fingers and solve one big problem for you, what would it be?

  6. What do you want your life/reality to look like?
